well in the first stage of construction. The fire pump station will also be constructed
in the first stage. This will assure that when the new Transfer Building is opened for
operations that the water supply and fire water supply system will be operational.
The new well and pump house is to be located in an area that is currently used for
parking (See Drawing RSI-1) and ,therefore, the Station operations can continue in
the current Station transfer areas while the new water supply systems are constructed.
The well system will include a chlorination system for the domestic water supply.
Although the water supply system is not a public system, the system will be designed
to meet chlorination requirements for public systems. This will include an outdoor
chlorination tank system in an enclosure near the supply well. The well system will
meet requirements of County ordinances and regulations.
C.
