To avoid disruption of Sunday services at
the Trinity Community Church, construction activities shall be prohibited on Sundays.
Mitigation Measure D.lb: Construction equipment noise shall be minimized during
project construction by muffling and shielding intakes and exhaust on construction
equipment(per the manufacturers' specifications)and by shrouding or shielding impact
tools.
Mitigation Measure D.lc: The project applicant shall construct the 6-foot high solid
masonry fence proposed along the western boundary of the site(Mitigation Measure A.1c)
prior to construction of the main transfer station/materials recovery area on the eastern
parcel of the site so as to provide some additional buffering from associated construction
noise.
Significance After Mitigation: Given the temporary nature of construction noise impacts, the
above mitigation measures would reduce the impact to a less than significant level.
Stockton Scavenger Transfer Station Erpansion III.D.12 ESA 1990190
