AM
2. A baler may be added to the facility to increase the
efficiency of the recovery operation.
3 . Installing a high capacity stationary compactor, in the
area presently used for tipping and consolidating
refuse.
4 . Construct a new materials recovery/transfer building to
completely enclose the portion of the transfer station
that includes the tipping area, the waste storage area,
the stationary compactors, and the transfer trailers
and roll-off containers being loaded with materials .
Initial plans at the expanded transfer station will be
to receive 300 tons per day, however, to account for
growth in the waste stream, and the potential for long-
term changes in the county's solid waste management
plan, the expanded transfer station will be designed
for a capacity of 1000 tons per-day.
5 . Expanding the tipping area from approximately 35 feet
wide to accomodate the new tipping area .
6 . Installing a new roof canopy over the enlarged tipping
area to prevent precipitation from contacting tipped
refuse .
7 . Approximately 5 acres to the west of the station which
is owned by Stockton Scavengers Association will be
used for additional storage and office space .
8 . Empty infectious waste trucks are parked at the
station.
J. Hours of operation:
Monday - Saturday 4: 00 A.M. - 5 : 00 P.M.
2 . The following list of agencies and documents condition the
operation and use of the facility:
a. Report of Station Information dated June, 1988 and
revised July, 1988 .
b.
