r <br /> t <br /> t rr <br /> in the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, Waste Discharge Requirements, for City of Manteca - y <br /> Sludge Applications to Land, San Joaquin County, a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto and shall be considered a part of this Agreement <br /> including any revisions mandated by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board over the term of this Lease. Sludge will <br /> usually be applied during the fall after the sludge has dried. The <br /> sludge will be transported from the City of Manteca Water Quality <br /> Control Facility to the fields by LESSEE AT THE DIRECTION OF LESSOR, <br /> and will be incorporated into the soil within 48 hours after <br /> spreading. <br /> FERTILIZERS AND PESTICIDES PROHIBITED: Lessee will not apply any <br /> Y F <br /> natural or chemical fertilizer, pesticide, or any other chemical <br /> L agent to the leased land or crops grown on the leased land without <br /> written approval by Lessor. Lessor will be allowed 30 days to review <br /> and respond in writing to any such request by Lessee. j <br /> CROPS APPROVED FOR PLANTING: Lessee may plant and harvest the <br /> I' following crops: alfalfa, barley, silage corn, oats. Lessee may <br /> propose other crops which must be approved in writing by Lessor. '••' ' <br /> Lessor will be allowed 30 days to review and respond in writing to <br /> j any such request by Lessee. <br /> CROPS PROHIBITED: Lessee will not plant any unprocessed food crops. <br /> MONTHLY REPORTING REQUIREMENTS: Lessee shall submit on the first <br /> workday of each month a report to Lessor, on a form supplied by <br /> Lessor, an accounting of crops planted, crops harvested, and <br /> quantities of sludge spread in each field. rr <br /> F ' <br /> ASSIGNMENT AND SUBLETTING: Lessee shall not assign this Lease, or <br /> any interest therein, and shall not sublet the said premises or any <br /> part thereof or any right or privilege appurtenant thereto, or suffer <br /> any other person (the agents and servants of Lessee excepted) to <br /> occupy or use the said premises or any portion thereof, without the <br /> 1 ! written consent of Lessor first had and obtained, and a consent to <br /> one assignment, subletting, occupation or use b an other <br /> 5 g P Y Y person, ' <br /> shall not be deemed to be a consent to any subsequent assignment, . <br /> subletting, occupation or use by another person. Any such assignment : <br /> or subletting without such consent shall be void, and shall, at the <br /> option of Lessor, terminate this Lease.
