Per Production Manager, Dan <br /> Woodson, it has been leaking for approximately two months. The oil puddle on the ground had a few saturated rags <br /> in it. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of <br /> hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately fix <br /> the leak and manage the oil waste according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and <br /> supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> An eyewash was observed in the paint room missing the two bottles of eye wash solution. All facility <br /> communications or alarm systems,fire protection equipment,spill control equipment, and decontamination <br /> equipment,where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of <br /> emergency. Immediately begin this practice. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(d)Stored hazardous waste onsite greater than 180 days. <br /> One full yellow metal approximately 35 gallon drum of acetone rags was observed with an accumulation start date of <br /> 6/25/2018. No disposal records for acetone rags were available during the inspection. Facilities who generate less <br /> than 1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may <br /> store waste on site up to 180 days.
