It identifies potential hazards , details emergency action procedures , including response functions and support organizations ( both internal and external resources) , and describes the required reporting documentation and investigative follow- up for a hazardous waste incident . The Home Depot maintains a robust Handling Hazardous Materials Standard Operating Procedure ( HHM SOP ) for its Supply Chain locations , which is regularly updated and available electronically to Associates . This comprehensive program effectively prevents the release of hazardous materials and aggressively protects the environment . The HHM SOP outlines the measures that The Home Depot will take to contain and clean up spilled materials . It also outlines Home Depot' s third party contractor programs and responses . Activities that represent potential hazard from fire , explosion , or release due to hazardous waste storage at the Site are minimal . Any hazardous waste generated is stored in the 90 - day storage area termed the Handling Hazardous Materials Automated ( HHMA) Central Storage Area ( CSA) — located on the southwest side of the Site building . A fire or explosion hazard would not be anticipated at the potential concentrations of hazardous waste constituents present in the waste . Current Revision Date and Amendments According to Title 40 CFR Part 265 . 54 , the Plan must be reviewed and immediately amended when : • Applicable regulations are revised ; • The plan fails in an emergency ; • The Site changes - in its design , construction , operation , maintenance , or other circumstances - in a way that materially increases the potential for fires , explosions , or releases of hazardous waste or hazardous waste constituents , or changes the response necessary in an emergency ; • The list of emergency coordinators changes ; or, The list of emergency equipment changes ; Table 1 provides a list of revisions made to the contingency plan . l � i arcadis . com 4 l_�
