Washington Blvd, Stockton - Riverside Cement Co.
Dear Margaret;
We have enclosed a report titled "Final Report & Request for Site
Closure" covering the results of groundwater monitoring recently
completed at the above site.
A groundwater monitoring well was completed on the site on
November 18, 1994; developing and sampling was done on November
21 by Del-Tech Geotechnical Support Services under the super-
vision of the Environmental Health Division. Laboratory analysis
of both soil and water samples taken during placement of the well
were below detection limits as shown on tables V & VI.
Confirmation sampling of the well was done again on December 21
by Del-Tech as detailed on their field report included as exhibit
R. However, due to a clerical error at FGL laboratory, the water
sample was not run within the specified holding period. The well
was again sampled by Del-Tech on January 23, 1995; laboratory
results again showed that all tested substances were below
detection limits; (Table VII & exhibit P. )
We have included copies of all documentation covering work done
on this site beginning with the removal of the UST. If anything
is missing, please give us a call. We have not forwarded a copy
of the report to the RWQCB, but will do so if requested.
Since all contamination has been removed from the site, and the
groundwater has been shown not be impacted, we believe that no
further work is required, and request that the monitoring well be
properly destr yea and the site closed.
SincqEn3e9
Wm. r & Associates
cc: Kulesza
