Public Services <br /> Project activities likely to create an impact: <br /> • Removal of top 18 to 24 inches of burned material, ash and visibly affected soil within gravel <br /> pit area <br /> • Removal of localized areas of deeper soil containing elevated concentrations of metals or <br /> pyrolytic oil. <br /> Description of Environmental Setting: <br /> The City of Tracy Fire Department provides fire protection to the project site. The closest fire <br /> station is Station#95, located at 7700 Linne Road. This station houses a 1997 American La <br /> France/High Tech Engine. This station also houses a 3,000-gallon Mack water tender. The San <br /> Joaquin County Sheriff's Department and California Highway Patrol provide police protection <br /> depending on the services needed. The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department is dispatched <br /> from sheriff headquarters located at 7000 S Michael N Canlis Boulevard, French Camp, <br /> California.The California Highway Patrol is dispatched from patrol headquarters located at 385 <br /> W. Grantline Road, Tracy, California. <br /> The project site is located within the Jefferson School District for elementary and intermediate <br /> students, and the Tracy Unified School District for high school students. Students attending <br /> kindergarten through fifth grade would attend Monticello Elementary; students attending sixth <br /> through eighth grades would attend Jefferson School. Students in the ninth through twelfth grade <br /> would attend Tracy High School. <br /> The proposed project site is not located within the vicinity of any parks or recreational facilities. <br /> Analysis of Potential Impacts: <br /> Describe to what extent project activities would: <br /> a.
