UNDERGROUND TANK INSTALLATIONS <br /> 230 West Elm Street and SECTION 6 <br /> 1331 South Ham Lane SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> 6-01 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> The work consists of installing six City-furnished, double-wall , <br /> steel tanks for storage and dispensing of gasoline and diesel <br /> fuels and storage of waste oil . The work includes furnishing and <br /> installing product, vent, and vapor recovery lines and connection <br /> to existing dispensers; disposal of existing tanks; and other <br /> incidental and related work, all as shown on the plans and <br /> specifications for the project. <br /> The work to be done is shown on the following plans: <br /> VICINITY MAP <br /> APPENDIX A, Sheet 1 - Additional Cathodic Protection Anode <br /> Installation <br /> Sheet 2 - Anode Detail <br /> APPENDIX B - Work Area, 230 W. Elm Street <br /> D44 - Underground Tank Installations, 230 W. Elm Street (separate) <br /> D45 - Underground Tank Installations, 1331 S. Ham Lane (separate) <br /> 6-02 QUANTITIES <br /> The preliminary estimate of the quantities of work to be done and <br /> materials to be furnished as shown in the proposal are approximate <br /> only, being given as a basis for the comparison of bids. The City <br /> of Lodi does not expressly or by implication agree that the actual <br /> amount of work will correspond therewith, but reserves the right <br /> to increase or decrease the amount of any class or portion of the <br /> work or to omit portions of the work that may be deemed necessary <br /> or expedient by the City Engineer. <br /> Additions or deletions in the quantity of work as set forth in <br /> these specifications and accompanying drawings for lump sum items <br /> may be ordered by the Engineer after the contract price has been <br /> adjusted accordingly to the satisfaction of both the Contractor <br /> and the City of Lodi , and they have been accepted in writing by <br /> the Engineer. <br /> 6-03 MATERIALS <br /> The Contractor shall furnish for use under these Special <br /> Provisions all materials required to complete the project, except <br /> those materials specifically shown on the Plans or listed in these <br /> Special Provisions as "City furnished" . <br /> 6.1 <br /> TAMVC /TVTI.I n)M <br />
