Based on the Guide classifying "Energy Bars and Drinks(with <br /> supplemental facts only)"as STOU HW, David placed the supplement tablets into a HW bag and marked it with STOU <br /> and today's date. (IMG 6164-7, 6183, 6191) <br /> o An open 1.5 oz. container of dried modeling dough. David said the dough could not be resold and should be <br /> processed as HW.The handheld scanner stated"See guide"for the disposal code for the modeling dough. Based on <br /> the Guide classifying"Play Dough"as STOU HW, David placed the modeling dough into a HW bag and marked it with <br /> STOU and today's date. (IMG 6168-9, 6182, 6191) <br /> David took all of the above mentioned items to the HW storage area and placed them into a tote and labeled the tote <br /> with a STOU HW label (IMG 6214-5). However, David did not mark the physical state until the inspector pointed out <br /> that the physical state was not marked (IMG 6222). David also wrote the store(generator)address incorrectly as 125 <br /> N. Ham Ln. Lodi, CA on the HW label. <br /> -Seven HW bags containing various brands of perfume bottles missing the actuators were found in an open cardboard <br /> box on the ground next to the Dollar Tree"go-back"item baskets.A bag of Premium Cat Litter was on top of the bags <br /> of perfumes. Six of the bags contained approximately 13 perfume bottles each, and one bag contained four perfume <br /> bottles.Approximately 82 perfume bottles total, most of which were missing actuators,were found in HW bags. David <br /> did not know how long the perfumes had been in the location they were found. David stated he would have to remove <br /> all of the perfumes from the facility's inventory through the facility's computer, since the perfumes did not have <br /> barcodes to scan. David took the perfumes to the HW storage area, but did not place the perfumes into a HW tote at <br /> the time of inspection. (IMG 6174-8) <br /> -A HW bag containing three 0.6 fl. oz. containers of Grad (blowing)Bubbles was found in the open cardboard box <br /> beneath the bags of perfume. David did not know how long the bubbles had been in the location they were found. <br /> According to the Guide, blowing bubbles are classified as STOU HW. David marked the bubbles with STOU and <br /> placed them in an STOU HW tote. (IMG 6179, 6218-20) <br /> -An empty damaged 96 oz. container of The Home Store Bleach was found in an STOU HW tote marked with <br /> accumulation start date 1/23/19, solid as the physical state, and as containing fluorescent lamps, household <br /> batteries, and electronic devices. David said the label on the tote was an old label that should have been removed <br /> when the hazardous waste was last picked up. The handheld scanner stated the bleach container should be placed in <br /> an OX HW tote. David placed the empty container of bleach into an OX HW tote.When asked, David did not know <br /> what happened to the missing liquid from the bleach container(IMG 6194-9). <br /> -An unlabeled tote in the HW storage area contained the following items in HW bags(IMG 6200-6210): <br /> o Three orange LA Colors Color Craze nail polish containers marked AF and a date of 2/4/19. <br /> o Three purple LA Colors Color Craze nail polish containers marked AF and dates of 2/4/19. <br /> o One gray LA Colors Color Craze nail polish container marked AF and a date of 2/4/19 <br /> o Three 1.8 oz. aerosol cans of Goofy String marked AF and dates of 2/16/19 and 2/26/19. <br /> David filled out and placed a HW Aerosols, Flammables and Combustibles(AF)label onto the tote. However, he wrote <br /> the accumulation start date as 5/10/19, although the HW items in the tote were dated as early as 2/4/19(IMG 6217). <br /> He also did not mark the physical state until the inspector pointed out that the physical state was not marked (IMG <br /> 6217, 6221). David also wrote the store(generator)address incorrectly as 125 N. Ham Ln.
