CAC SECTION OBSERVATIONS RESULT <br /> 17688 Volume A gas extractionoperationis C <br /> Reduction and conducted on site. I spoke with Ron <br /> Energy Brown, on site station supervisor, <br /> Recovery. Pacific Lighting Energy Systems. He <br /> provided the following information <br /> about the operation: <br /> 1) of the gas that is extracted, 55% of <br /> it is methane. <br /> 2) an average of .75 mega watts of energy <br /> is produced daily. <br /> 3) 1-10 gallons of condensate is <br /> produced daily. The condensate is returned <br /> to the fill area. <br /> 4) a station caretaker is on site Monday, <br /> Tuesday and Friday. This station telephone <br /> number is ( 209) 462-4206. <br /> 17689 Processing -Salvaging operations were not I <br /> Area. conducted the day of this inspection. <br /> Future inspectors should check that <br /> salvaging operations do not interfere <br /> with other site operations. <br /> 17690 Storage of I observed that salvaged goods were V <br /> . Salvage. stored in the northwest corner of the <br /> site. This salvaging area was <br /> overgrown with six feet high thistles. <br /> Salvaged goods were interspersed among <br /> the thistles. This area was a fire <br /> hazard. (See slide 1.19 - 1.21) . <br /> 17691 Removal. I was unable to ascertain a schedule V <br /> of removal for salvaged goods.
