Installation Gude. es ar `
d anTex ' Systems
4 W2
Step 6a: Install the 2"PVC filtrate return line from the outlet
coupling in the bottom of the AdvanTex pod to the inlet side of
the split-flaw tee. This 2" filtrate return line should be sloped a
minimum of 114"per foot..If the filtrate return line is less than 6'
t
long, provide a minimum of 1.5" total elevation difference from
the outlet of the filter to theinlet of the split-flow tee. Be sure the
INIRmtu.1 2" filtrate return line is continuously sloped.
NOTE. Do not allow any undulations or flat sections as this
4'- F
will impair liquid and air movement.
Step 6b: Be sure the split-flow tee is installed in the proper
orientation. The filtrate return line connects to the end of the
split-flow tee labeled"IN."The discharge pipe connects to the
end of the split-flow tee labeled"OUT."
Step 6c: When gluing the split-flow tee, orient it to
accommodate the slope requirements of the discharge line. The
discharge line should have a minimum slope of 114"per foot and
a maximum slope of 2 inches per foot(10 degrees). If a slope of
greater than 10 degrees is necessary, install the first 12 inches of
the line at less than 10 degrees;then use fittings to achieve the
necessary slope greater than 10 degrees.
Step 6d: Plumb the discharge line from the split-flow tee,
maintaining a 114"per foot slope.
tA
a 2884 Orence Systemse Inc.
