Lisa Medina [EH]
From: Lisa Medina [EH]
Sent: Thursday, September 15, 20113:06 PM
To: Tom McCoy (tmccoy@qualityserviceinc.net)
Cc: Veronica (vgonzalez@qualityserviceinc.net); Rodney Estrada [EH]
Subject: Country Manor MHP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) 17251 Tretheway Road, Lockeford,
CA
Good Afternoon,
I just received a phone call from Richard Davis of River Rats Pumping Company. He stated that he would like to propose
a repair to the existing sewage disposal system by installing a pressure dosed system on the north side of the property
which is on a separate legal parcel. He stated that the owner asked him to contact the EHD to discuss options and
informed the EHD that they are currently working on a Lot Line Adjustment application. At this time, the EHD has
confirmed that the current system is operating and functioning within and according to SJC's OnSite Wastewater
Disposal Standards. Mr. Davis was instructed to contact Quality Service to discuss any proposals as a professional
courtesy.
There was a problem over the past several months with the new repair not taking any water due to a clogged pipe that
was blocked with babywipes. The babywipes were removed and wastewater was once again observed by the EHD
flowing to the new seepage pits. Quality Service is the contracted Certified Distribution Operator for this facility and
should be apprised of any proposed work to the system.Any future repairs to the system shall require an approved
engineer designed sewage disposal plan under permit and inspection by the EHD. However, at this time the wastewater
system, sewage disposal system area(s), and all of their components are operating and functioning within SJC's Onsite
Sewage Disposal Standards. Regards.
Lisa Medina, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202-3029
(209) 468-3455
Imedina@sjcehd.com
1
