Tretheway Road, Lockeford, CA
Permit I.D.: PT0000073 —Segal Family Trust DTD 2113192
Record I.D.: PR0420066
A routine bi-annual inspection was conducted at the wastewater treatment plant on
July 14, 2011. The following was observed and noted upon inspection:
Certified Distribution Operator, Tom McCoy of Quality Services, Inc and representatives
from the "River Rat" Pumping Company were present during the routine inspection. A site
visit was conducted this date due to concerns of alleged problems with sewage disposal
system not taking effluent at the sewage disposal fields. Upon Environmental Health
Department (EHD) arrival, it was observed and noted that the diverting tank located to the
north east of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) was being utilized as a holding
tank for treated effluent. Per"River Rat" personnel two truck loads per day at 2,500
gallons each were.being pumped and hauled off-site for the past several days.
F
It was discussed at this time that the sewage disposal field was possibly not taking effluent
being discharged. At this time, discussion occurred to determine which systems
were taking effluent. A series of seven new seepage pits had been installed under permit
11 SR0057183 by Central Valley Septic, Inc in April of 2009, and it was unclear as to whether
or not the new seepage pits were taking any effluent.
Upon discussion, the EHD directed WWTP personnel, Tom McCoy of Quality Service,
Inc, to locate the distribution box associated with the new installation and to rule out if
E:
effluent was blocked, or if there was a breech in the conveyance flow to the new
distribution box. No other recommendations were made by the EHD and any further work
conducted at the site would be authorized and approved by Torn McCoy of Quality
Service, Inc as the registered Certified Distribution Operator for this facility on file with the
I; EHD.
s
1
