According to <br />Rodger Ainsworth, Maintenance Manager, the used oil is taken to the Household Hazardous Waste facility to be <br />disposed of. No receipts are given to the business. <br />REGULATION: Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility <br />and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available <br />for review. If the waste is taken to the Household Hazardous Waste facility, a business appointment must be made <br />beforehand and a receipt must be obtained when the waste is dropped off. <br /> <br />CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain <br />them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. If the facility does not have any disposal records, immediately start to <br />maintain them. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 115 CCR 66266.81(a)(4)(B) Failed to retain copy of manifest or bill of lading for spent lead acid batteries for 3 years. <br />Bills of lading or manifests for the management of lead acid batteries for the last three years were not found on site. <br />A copy of each bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of <br />lading or manifests for lead acid batteries for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the <br />EHD. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 119 HSC 25404(e)(4) Failed to report program data in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS). <br />OBSERVATION: The submittal made in the California Electronic Reporting System (CERS) incorrectly lists the <br />facility name as "INLAND FLYING SVC." In addition, "NO" is marked under the questions that asks "Does your <br />facility generate Hazardous Waste?" The business that currently resides at the facility is JC AIR ACADEMY INC, <br />and hazardous waste was observed on site during the inspection. <br />REGULATION: Beginning January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all new (or any changes to <br />existing) hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov.
