All personnel working for HETI at the lob site shall be monitored for heat stress. <br /> Because workers at the job site are expected to be wearing permeable clothing (e g <br /> standard cotton or synthetic work clothes), monitoring for heat stress will consist of <br /> personnel constantly observing each other for any of the heat stress symptoms <br /> discussed in Section M. <br /> Field personnel shall be cautioned to inform each other of non-visual effects of the <br /> presence of toxins, such as: headaches, dizziness, nausea, blurred vision, cramps, <br /> irritation of eyes, skin, or respiratory tract, changes in complexion or skin discoloration, <br /> changes in apparent motor coordination, changes in personality or demeanor, excessive <br /> salivation or changes in pupillary response or hanges in speech ability or pattern <br /> VI. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT <br /> Level D personal protection equipment is expected to be the highest protective level <br /> required to complete the field activities for this project.
