Examples of Workplace Violence include: <br /> (a) Physical assault and/or threat. <br /> (b) Stalking or continuous harassment of another causing terror, fear, worry or <br /> intimidation. <br /> (c) Actions aimed at disrupting or sabotaging business. <br /> (d) Indirect threats such as; "I know where you live." <br /> (e) Domestic violence that spills into the workplace. <br /> (f) Aggressive, intimidating or hostile behavior. <br /> (g) Concealing or using a weapon, including terrorist attack. <br /> 2. If you are a victim or a witness to violence, notify the Operations Manager <br /> immediately. Report the following: <br /> (a) Were you injured and if so, the extent of the injuries. <br /> (b) Was a weapon involved? <br /> (c) Is the perpetrator still in the area? <br /> (d) Does the threat still exist? <br /> (e) A description of the attacker and direction of flight. <br /> 3. Examples of Unsettling Behavior: <br /> (a) Making inappropriate comments. <br /> (b) Irrational beliefs and ideas. <br /> (c) Fascination with weapons and acts of violence. <br /> (d) Expression of a plan to hurt one's self or others. <br /> (e) Inciting fear among co-workers. <br /> (f) Displaying unwarranted anger. <br /> (g)Inability to take criticism. <br /> (g) Expression of feelings of being victimized. <br /> (h) Hostile/aggressive behavior. <br /> (i) Expression of suicidal thoughts or fear of losing control. <br /> 0) Sending violent, threatening or hostile communication <br /> (k) Paranoia. <br /> (1) Displaying or posting anything in a threatening manner or violent in <br /> content. <br /> 4.
