Evacuation: <br /> Either a delayed or immediate site evacuation may be <br /> called. The Plant Manager will make such determination <br /> after consulting with local fire officials. The procedures <br /> evacuation procedures outlined in Section 9.0 shall be <br /> followed. <br /> 2. Shelter-In-Place <br /> The Plant Manager will determine if a shelter-in-place <br /> response is to be implemented. The Plant Manager or <br /> Operations Manager will announce via plant radios that this <br /> response is to be taken. Other employees will be notified <br /> either verbally or by phone. <br /> (a) Go to the Control Room immediately and tightly <br /> close all doors, windows and openings. <br /> (b) Turn on your radio to a local news station. <br /> (c) Follow any special instructions given by emergency <br /> authorities. <br /> (d) Shut off all air conditioning units, fans, ventilation <br /> systems, <br /> etc. <br /> (e) Place wet towels at the base of doors or breathe <br /> through damp towels. <br /> (f) Don respirators if eye, nose or throat irritation is <br /> experienced. <br /> (g) Evacuate if advised to do so by local authorities. <br /> Emergency Action Plan—DTE Stockton, LLC <br />
