BENII Project No. 11-9234 <br /> Sampling Areas <br /> As required, sampling locations are determined by site conditions and/or the provided documentation <br /> from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD). Potential areas of <br /> contamination are divided into primary and secondary areas. The primary areas are described as those <br /> where the actual processing (cooking) took place and/or where the storage of'chemicals exists. The <br /> secondary areas are described as those where migration from the primary areas is likely to have occurred <br /> due to high traffic and ventilation. <br /> I. Primary Areas Include: Processing or "cooking" areas. Areas affected may include floor <br /> coverings, walls, ceilings, working surfaces, plumbing fixtures, plumbing drains and HVAC <br /> system. Selected areas are as follows: <br /> House: <br /> o The building materials and components throughout the entire house will be completely <br /> removed in lieu of sampling.✓ <br /> o This includes the full removal of appliances, light fixtures, HVAC system,duct work, air <br /> registers, walls, ceilings, floor coverings, cabinets, vanities, sinks, toilets, bath <br /> tubs/showers, plumbing fixtures and plumbing drains. <br /> Metal Barn: <br /> o The building components throughout the entire metal barn will be completely removed in <br /> lieu of sampling./ <br /> o This includes the full removal of light fixtures, sink vanity, sink, plumbing fixtures, <br /> plumbing drains, plywood walls,sheet metal walls and plastic on ceiling. <br /> o The concrete floor shall be triple rinse surface washed using a non-phosphate based <br /> cleaner and encapsulated with an oil based paint or similar product. <br /> Modular Trailer: <br /> o The entire modular trailer shall be properly disposed of in lieu of sampling. <br /> 2. Secondary Areas Include: Locations where contamination may have migrated, such as hallways <br /> or high traffic areas. <br /> 1) Septic waste water sample to be collected from the septic waste water system and analyzed. <br /> 3. Suspected disposal methods observed at the site (e.g., dumping, burning, burial, venting, and/or <br /> drain disposal): <br /> A. Suggested disposal method: Off-site disposal (no signs of dumping and/or drain disposal <br /> observed). <br /> 11.0.
