Wipe samples will be utilized on hard surfaces; suspect contaminated textile/carpeted or other soft <br /> surfaces will not be sampled as the recommendations will be disposal. <br /> 7. As required, wipe samples will be collected from the following as associated with each major area of <br /> the location, suspected by history and/or visual observations, as being potentially affected by <br /> contamination. <br /> A. Each major floor surface. <br /> B. Each major wall/ceiling surface(walls substituted in lieu of ceilings). <br /> C. Each major cabinet, counter and/or built-in feature (e.g., kitchen cabinets, counters, vanities, <br /> etc.). <br /> D. Each bathroom and/or kitchen fixture or grouping of fixtures (omitted due to disposal <br /> recommendations). <br /> E. Each major furniture grouping(none present). <br /> 8. Sample locations are recorded on the enclosed site diagram(see Attachment B). <br /> The remaining areas of the House (front bedroom, upstairs bathroom, upstairs east bedroom) are not <br /> being selected as part of the sampling based on visual observations(no signs of staining and/or dumping) <br /> and the information provided on the confiscated materials list showing that no chemicals and/or materials <br /> were discovered within these areas. However, these areas will be part of the remediation contingent upon <br /> other sample results showing contamination within the House. <br /> The confiscated materials list refers to chemicals and materials being found within two(2)trailers on the <br /> property. Upon the inspection of the property only one (1) trailer was noted on the property. This trailer <br /> is being selected as part of the sampling.The current location of the other trailer is unknown. <br /> The confiscated materials list also refers to chemicals and materials being found within the Barn. There <br /> is also a small wood shed located on the property. Based on our visual inspection and site conditions, <br /> BEM, Inc. believes that the chemicals/materials were found within the Metal Barn and not the unfinished <br /> small wood shed.The Metal Barn is being selected as part of the sampling. <br /> Upon the receipt of analytical results that show contamination within any of the samples collected from <br /> within the Modular Trailer, Metal Barn, and House, the remainder of these areas would be included in <br /> the remediation of the subject property. <br /> P.O.
