I h . Failing to complete the generator and waste section and sign the manifest <br /> 2 certification, in violation of California Code of Regulations , title 22 section 66262 .23 (a); <br /> 3 i . Failing to retain a copy of each signed manifest for three (3 ) years or until the <br /> 4 generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility which received the waste, in violation <br /> 5 of California Code of Regulations title 22 section 66262 .40(a) ; <br /> 6 j. Failing to contact the transporter and/or the owner or operator of the <br /> 7 designated facility to determine the status of the hazardous waste within thirty-five (35) days of the <br /> 8 date the waste was accepted with a copy of the manifest without the handwritten signature of the <br /> 9 owner or operator of the designated facility, in violation of California Code of Regulations, title 22 <br /> 10 section 66262 .42(a) ; <br /> 11 k. Failing to maintain and operate facility to minimize the possibility of a fire, <br /> 12 explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste, in violation of <br /> 13 California Code of Regulations, title 22 section 66265 .31 ; <br /> 14 1 . Failing to keep container holding hazardous waste closed during transfer and <br /> 15 storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste, in violation of California Code of <br /> 16 Regulations, title 22 section 66265 . 173 (a) ; <br /> 17 m . Failing to mark and manage an emptied container or an inner liner from a <br /> 18 container larger than five (5 ) gallons , which previously held a hazardous material, including but not <br /> 19 limited to hazardous waste, in violation of California Code of Regulations, title 22 section <br /> 20 66261 .7(f) ; <br /> 21 n. Accumulating hazardous waste onsite longer than ninety (90) days without a <br /> 22 permit or grant of interim status, in violation of California Code of Regulations, title 22 section <br /> 23 66262 .34 (a) ; <br /> 24 0 . Storing satellite accumulated hazardous waste onsite without initial date of <br /> 25 waste accumulation clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container, in violation of <br /> 26 California Code of Regulations, title 22 section 66262 . 34 (e) ( 1 )(C) ; <br /> 27 p.
