All samples will be <br /> accompanied to the laboratory by a chain-of-custody form (COC) <br /> form. <br /> LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> All soil samples, including equipment rinsate and trip blanks will be <br /> analyzed by a California Department of Public Health approved <br /> laboratory, for the following <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons (EPA method SW 8015 <br /> Modified) <br /> • Volatile organic compounds (EPA Method SW 8260B) <br /> Select samples will also be analyzed for: <br /> • Ethylene glycol (ASTM Method D-3321) <br /> • CAM 17 Metals (EPA Method 6010B) <br /> FIELD QUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL <br /> To minimize the potential for cross contamination,field quality <br /> assurance/ quality control procedures for soil and groundwater <br /> sampling will include: <br /> • Cleaning of drilling equipment prior to proceeding at each drilling <br /> location; <br /> • Cleaning sampler and sample tubes with an Alconox solution, double <br /> rinsing in potable water, and final rinsing in deionized water prior to <br /> soil sampling; <br /> • Using disposable gloves at each location during sampling <br /> procedures; and <br /> • Preparing sample labels carefully and cross-comparing against chain- <br /> of-custody lists and field notes. <br />
