ACTION GUIDE#12— EVACUATION PROCEDURES <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION: <br /> This procedure is for the accounting of employees, visitors and contractors at the facility. The <br /> Evacuation Plan shall be reviewed with each employee annually. Supervisors shall review the <br /> plan with new employee assigned to them. Contractors working on the premises shall be <br /> briefed on evacuation requirements during their initial Process Safety Orientation. <br /> When an emergency event occurs: <br /> 1. Exit the area where incident occurs, and proceed along safe routes (upwind or crosswind) <br /> to an assigned assembly point (see attached plot plan). <br /> 2. Shutdown all related non-process equipment, if possible. Only designated personnel with <br /> emergency two-way radios should operate a vehicle in the facility during an emergency. <br /> Contract personnel shall not use personal or company owned vehicles as a means for <br /> evacuation from the plant or storage areas. <br /> 3. Evacuees must remain at their assembly areas until released by Emergency Coordinator or <br /> designated alternate. <br /> 4. Designated personnel will communicate to the Emergency Coordinator the result of head <br /> counts from their assembly points. <br /> S. The Emergency Coordinator will verify the accounting of personnel using the Sign-in Log <br /> from the Main Office. <br />
