Central Valley Regional Water Qual-
ity Control Board (RWQCB) . "
The state contact issue was dis-
cussed with the DHS and RWQCB in the
weekly phone status report on May 2 ,
1988 . The RWQCB approved of having
the DHS be the lead state agency for
community relations. The DHS agreed
and named Leticia Rico as the state
representative.
D-19 9 DHS requests that we prepare writ-
ten copies of the updates we plan
to provide to network members for
DHS approval prior to calling the
network.
The issue of DHS approval authority
is addressed in the cover letter
from Charles McCormick to Jim Allen.
This is one of the items to be dis-
cussed in the upcoming meeting.
We fully intend to contact
Leticia Rico, DHS, as part of the
communications network.
D-21 1 DHS provides a number of comments
regarding the preliminary mailing
list. Many of these comments are no
longer applicable because consider-
able progress has been made in
developing a more complete mailing
list.
DHS requests that the mailing list
include residents of Boggs Tract.
Residents of Boggs Tract, and other
contiguous property owners, have
been included in the draft mailing
list of approximately 830 names .
DHS requests that the mailing list
be included in a revision of the
CRP. We do not feel it is neces-
sary to revise the CRP at this
time. The mailing list will be
provided to DHS in an upcoming
letter and can be included in
future revisions of the CRP.
Copies of the letter and mailing
list will be placed with the CRP in
the information repositories.
5
