28 October 2020 AdvancedGeo
Project No. 20-6092 An Employee-Owned Company
Page 12 of 20
ensures that the vendor understands the site layout, knows the protocol for entering the
Facility and during transfer operations of the petroleum product. The Facility has the
necessary equipment to respond to a discharge from the vehicle or fuel delivery hose.
Unloading of tank trucks and fueling of vehicles takes place only in the designated
unloading/fueling area and has the necessary equipment to respond to a discharge during
loading and or unloading.
The Coordinator or his/her designee supervises oil deliveries and shipments for all new
suppliers and existing, approved suppliers.
Vehicle filling operations are performed by Facility personnel trained in proper discharge
prevention procedures. The truck driver or Facility personnel remain with the vehicle at
all times while fuel is being transferred. Transfer operations are performed according to
the minimum procedures outlined in Table 7.
4.9. BRITTLE FRACTURE EVALUATION - 40 CFR 112.7(1)
There are no field-constructed ASTs at the facility, therefore this section does not apply.
4.10. CONFORMANCE WITH LOCAL REQUIREMENTS - 40 CFR 112.7(J)
All applicable ASTs at this Facility are registered with the Local Applicable Requirements
(LEA) and have current certificates of registration and special use permits required by the
local fire code.
5.0. DISCHARGE PREVENTION — SPCC PROVISIONS FOR THE FACILITY
The following measures are implemented to prevent unauthorized oil discharges and
spills during the handling, and transfer of oil containers to and from delivery vehicles at
the Facility. Oil-handling employees have received training in the proper implementation
of these measures.
5.1. FACILITY DRAINAGE - 40 CFR 112.8(b)
Storm water drainage from the Facility is designed to flow via surface drainage to the
northwest and is directed to surface drain swales into storm drains along East Louise
Avenue located to the north of the Facility.
5.2. BULK STORAGE CONTAINERS - 40 CFR 112.8 (c)
Table 8 summarizes the construction, volume, and content of bulk storage containers at
the Facility.
