Finding <br /> Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into the project that substantially lessen the <br /> potentially significant effect as identified in the Final EK so that environmental effects after such <br /> mitigation are reduced to a less than significant level. <br /> Brief Explanation of the Rationale for the Finding <br /> Pursuant to Public Resources Code Section 21081(a)(1), the Board of Supervisors finds that the project's <br /> adherence to the following mitigation measure will reduce the potential impact of this significant effect to <br /> a less than significant level: <br /> MM 4.3-1. <br /> In the event of an inadvertent discovery of a cultural resource during excavation and grading,the <br /> following mitigation measures shall apply: <br /> a) If human remains are found during construction, CEQA requires that further work or <br /> disturbance of the site be halted. The discovery will be inspected and the remains be <br /> handled in a manner consistent with Public Resources Code 5097.98-99, Health and <br /> Safety Code 7050.5, and CEQA Section 15064.5. <br /> b) In the event any as yet undetected (i.e. buried) cultural or paleontological resources are <br /> encountered on the Project site at a future time,a qualified archaeologist or paleontologist <br /> shall be contacted to evaluate the find in conformance with 15064.5 of CEQA. <br /> C. Effects Of The Project That Cannot Be ,Mitigated To A Level Less Than <br /> Significant. <br /> None <br /> D. Cumulative Environmental Effects Of The Proposed Project That Will Have A <br /> Less Than Significant Impact On The Environment. <br /> Cumulative impacts to cultural resources will be reduced to a less than significant level with the <br /> incorporation of the proposed mitigation measures. <br /> E. Cumulative Environmental Effects Of The Proposed Project That Will Have A <br /> Significant Impact On The Environment. <br /> None <br /> Geology And Soils <br /> A.
