Establishments primarily engaged in <br /> collecting and transporting refuse without such disposal are classified in <br /> Transportation, Industry 4212. This industry is comprised of <br /> • Acid waste, collection, • Sludge disposal <br /> • Incinerator operation <br /> and disposal of sites <br /> • Ashes, collection, and • Landfill, sanitary: • Street refuse <br /> disposal of operation of systems <br /> • Garbage:collecting, • Radioactive waste • Waste materials <br /> destroying, and materials, disposal of disposal at sea <br /> processing <br /> • Hazardous waste material . Refuse systems <br /> disposal sites <br /> 2.0 EVALUATION METHODOLOGY <br /> The methodology for conducting the environmental compliance evaluation included two main <br /> components: <br /> 1. Database Review <br /> The following databases and websites were searched and reviewed as part of the evaluation: <br /> • Environmental Data Resources(EDR)AuditCheckTM Facility Report(Appendix C) <br /> • California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery(CalRecycle) <br /> • Department of Toxic Substances Control(DTSC)hazardous waste tracking system <br /> (HWTS) <br /> • DTSC Envirostor <br /> • State Water Resources Control Board(SWRCB) California Integrated Water Quality <br /> System(CIWQS) <br /> • SWRCB Geotracker <br /> • Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District(Valley Air District) <br /> • Kern County Public Health Department,Environmental Health Division <br /> 2. Site Visit <br /> The site visit included a guided tour of the facility and discussions with site contacts. Onsite <br /> recordkeeping and reporting documentation associated with permits and compliance were <br /> provided for review during the site visit <br /> 3 <br />
