I saw no evidence of <br /> processing operations causing health, safety or nuisance <br /> problems. <br /> Section 17520 - Storage of Salvage <br /> Storage of salvage occurred in clearly defined areas located <br /> beside cans and bottle collection areas, and north of transfer <br /> building; and was not likely to cause a safety hazard or public <br /> nuisance. <br /> Section 17521 - Removal <br /> Tom Sanchez (operator) , stated that salvage materials are removed <br /> as follows: cardboard and plastic every 24 hours, bottles and <br /> cans every 10 days. The volume of salvaged materials present was <br /> consistent with the stated removal frequencies. <br /> Section 17522 - Non-Salvageable Items <br /> I saw no evidence of non-salvageable items being salvaged. <br /> Section 17531 - Nuisance Control <br /> I saw no evidence that site operations were creating a public <br /> nuisance. <br /> Section 17532 - Dust Control <br /> I saw no evidence of dust being a nuisance, nor did I observe <br /> anyone being bothered by dust. <br /> Section 17534 - Drainage Control <br /> I did not observe inadequate drainage control.
