Based on the historic
aerial photography (Google Earth Pro 7.3.2.5776, Accessed 05/04/20) and USGS topographic
mapping, with exception of the existing single family residence (SFR) located to the immediate
south of the proposed home site, no other previous structures are observed to have been present on
the subject site from 1993 to present. In addition, the project site appears to have been in use as an
orchard during the same time period. Adjacent properties on the north, south, east and west of the
subject parcel also appear to have been primarily used for agricultural purposes.
The proposed and existing home are shown on a "Ste Plan" for 'New Addition" by San (Sheet SP-
1, dated 12/20/19). Plans show the proposed home to be a 4,896 square foot single family
dwelling with attached 1405 square foot garage. The proposed wastewater disposal system is
shown to include a septic tank (P & L Concrete Box with infiltrator lines) and proposed (32 ft by
60 ft) leach fields located in front (North) of the proposed home. A proposed well and propane
tank are shown behind the proposed house at the Southwest corner of the property. Information
included herein is provided for use in the design of the proposed onsite wastewater treatment
system (OWTS).
4.0 SEPTIC PERMITS AND PERFORMANCE
The project is located within the City of Manteca planning area; however, sewer, water, and stonn
drain services are not currently available in the vicinity of the proposed project. The existing
residence is located on the south side of subject project site (APN: 226-050-02) at 5400 Fig Road.
The existing SFR is located approximately 120 feet south of the proposed new SFR location. The
existing home is a two-bedroom one bath single family residence built in 1979 which includes an
attached garage, a barn, irrigation, a well near the northeast corner of the house and OWTS at the
southwest corner of the parcel.
