Page 6 FF 382-063-00 <br /> Based upon the results of test pits 4 and 5 , the subsurface <br /> material in the southern portion of this lot consisted of sandy <br /> silts with organic materials intermixed with debris such as tree <br /> limbs , glass , etc. , to an elevation of 45 feet . Photographs 16 <br /> and 17 in Appendix C show these test pits . This material is r <br /> d <br /> underlain by varying layers of silty clays , silty sands , sandy <br /> silts , and sands to the limit of the test pits , approximately 23 <br /> feet below existing surface elevation. <br /> Lot No. 2 : The results of borings 2 suggests that the <br /> jsubsurface material consists of organic matter, debris , and <br /> 1 intermixed soil to a depth of 25 feet , an elevation of <br /> approximately 46 feet . This material is underlain by a silty <br /> sand layer to the limit of the boring , approximately 41 feet <br /> below existing surface elevation. <br /> Lot No . 3.: Based upon the results of boring 1 and test pits <br /> 2 and 6 , the subsurface material consists of gravel and debris <br /> intermixed with soils to a depth of 20 feet , an approximate <br /> elevation of 39 feet. The debris encountered consists of chunks <br /> of concrete, waste construction materials , metal , glass , etc . <br /> Photograph numbers 10 , 11 , 18 , and 19 illustrate the materials <br /> encountered in test pits 2 and 6 . This material is underlain by <br /> a silty sand to the limit of the boring , approximately 30 feet <br /> below existing surface elevation. <br /> Tile Foundation Engineers, Inc. <br />
