Table 2 <br /> �: � County of San Joaquin <br /> Central valley Waste sru �es Loch <br /> Fact Sheet � <br /> TYPE OF FACILITY Existing Facility—This facility, owned and operated by <br /> California Waste Removal Systems, Inc., is a MRF and <br /> transfer station which accepts and processes source <br /> separated residential and commercial/industrial <br /> materials. In addition, yard waste and other organic <br /> material is accepted and composted on site. Materials <br /> which cannot be recycled are transferred to the North <br /> County facility and landfilled. <br /> FACILITY CAPACITY The California Waste Removal Systems Facility is <br /> permitted to receive 2000 tons per day for the transfer <br /> station and Materials Recovery Facility combined. <br /> Currently, the facility receives about 1,000 tons per day. <br /> The compost facility handles about 400 tons per day. It <br /> is anticipated that this facility will be expanded to handle <br /> additional compost and recyclables. <br /> EXPECTED Currently, about 20% of the waste passing through this <br /> DIVERSION RATE facility is diverted from the waste stream. <br /> PARTICIPATING City of Lodi and Refuse Service Areas A & B. This <br /> JURISDICTIONS facility may also be used to process green and other <br /> wood waste collected in the Central County area. <br /> LOCA'T'ION Located at 1333 East Turner Road, within the City of <br /> Lodi. <br /> 6 <br />
