• Enclosed please find the documentation of training (EXHIBIT H). • Item #119 - HSC 25160.2(b) (3) - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts for three years. o CORRECTIVE ACTION: ■ Hazardous Waste—Used Oil Records • The West Coast DC Regulatory Compliance Specialist conducted a thorough follow up review, on 06/24/2020, of the onsite existing records for any used oil for the years 2018, 2019 &2020. • All records reviewed are confirmed to be accurate & complete. • Item#202 - HSC 25189.5(a) - Disposed or caused disposal of HW at an unauthorized point. o CORRECTIVE ACTION: ■ Hazardous Waste—Facility Dumpsters & Trash Compactors • Formal Hazardous Waste General Awareness Training was developed & implemented onsite as of 03/06/2020. o The General Awareness Training (GAT) includes thorough descriptions, as well as photographic examples, of items that are considered general trash and can be disposed of as such. o The (GAT) also specifically directs associates to recognize the different types of items that could be considered potential hazardous waste and instructs them not to dispose of such items in the general DC trash. o The training also emphasizes the importance of contacting a manager/supervisor or a trained Hazardous Waste Technician for immediate assistance. • A DC Hazardous Waste "Quick-Hit" checklist was developed & implemented onsite on 05/12/2020. o Enclosed please find a copy of the "Quick-Hit" Checklist(EXHIBIT I). • The "Quick-Hit" checklist encompasses a routine weekly or bi-weekly assessment of all building areas &departments,which is conducted by the General manager& Facilities Maintenance Manager so as to ensure compliance. o This assessment includes all trash receptacles, dumpsters &trash compactors. • Item #301 - CCR 66265.31 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. o CORRECTIVE ACTION: ■ Hazardous Waste - Release Minimization • Any hazardous waste removed from the trash was taken to the Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area and processed. o All of the waste in question was removed by our vendor(Stericycle)on October 24, 2019 (EXHIBIT J). • The DC has implemented broad housekeeping strategy in place to enhance proper handling as well as the amount of hazardous waste generated.
