• Enclosed please find the documentation of training (EXHIBIT H). <br /> • Item #119 - HSC 25160.2(b) (3) - Failed to keep copies of consolidated manifesting receipts <br /> for three years. <br /> o CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br /> ■ Hazardous Waste—Used Oil Records <br /> • The West Coast DC Regulatory Compliance Specialist conducted a thorough <br /> follow up review, on 06/24/2020, of the onsite existing records for any used oil for <br /> the years 2018, 2019 &2020. <br /> • All records reviewed are confirmed to be accurate & complete. <br /> • Item#202 - HSC 25189.5(a) - Disposed or caused disposal of HW at an unauthorized point. <br /> o CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br /> ■ Hazardous Waste—Facility Dumpsters & Trash Compactors <br /> • Formal Hazardous Waste General Awareness Training was developed & <br /> implemented onsite as of 03/06/2020. <br /> o The General Awareness Training (GAT) includes thorough descriptions, as <br /> well as photographic examples, of items that are considered general trash and <br /> can be disposed of as such. <br /> o The (GAT) also specifically directs associates to recognize the different types <br /> of items that could be considered potential hazardous waste and instructs them <br /> not to dispose of such items in the general DC trash. <br /> o The training also emphasizes the importance of contacting a <br /> manager/supervisor or a trained Hazardous Waste Technician for immediate <br /> assistance. <br /> • A DC Hazardous Waste "Quick-Hit" checklist was developed & implemented <br /> onsite on 05/12/2020. <br /> o Enclosed please find a copy of the "Quick-Hit" Checklist(EXHIBIT I). <br /> • The "Quick-Hit" checklist encompasses a routine weekly or bi-weekly assessment <br /> of all building areas &departments,which is conducted by the General manager& <br /> Facilities Maintenance Manager so as to ensure compliance. <br /> o This assessment includes all trash receptacles, dumpsters &trash compactors. <br /> • Item #301 - CCR 66265.31 - Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> o CORRECTIVE ACTION: <br /> ■ Hazardous Waste - Release Minimization <br /> • Any hazardous waste removed from the trash was taken to the Hazardous Waste <br /> Accumulation Area and processed. <br /> o All of the waste in question was removed by our vendor(Stericycle)on October <br /> 24, 2019 (EXHIBIT J). <br /> • The DC has implemented broad housekeeping strategy in place to enhance proper <br /> handling as well as the amount of hazardous waste generated. <br />
