FLORIDO
Reviewed an email from Carolyn, received on 2/28/20, which contained an
incomplete land disposal restriction notification for waste shipped using manifest
021323913JJK, a Ramos Oil field response service order for the pick up of the
four 55-gallon drums of gasoline and one empty 55-gallon drum, and a generator
copy of manifest 021323914JJK for the four drums of gasoline.
Carolyn stated in her email that the tank is still on-site and will be removed this
week. Emailed Carolyn reminding her to provide a corrective action statement and
supporting documentation for each violation noted on the amended Notice To
Abate, including the management of the gasoline and diesel tanks.
03/04/2020 Called Carolyn to receive an update on the rest of the maintenance yard clean-up. FLORIDO
Carolyn stated she is waiting on a quote from Clean Harbors and to schedule for
them to conduct the clean-up of the waste in the maintenance building. She stated
the white gasoline tank is going to be moved to the City of Stockton's Community
Services Department Corp Yard, which is managed by Chad Reed, to be reused
to fuel the yard's fleet. She also stated the rusted diesel tank is going to be triple
rinsed and recycled by Clean Harbors, however she has yet to find a location to
send the tank for recycling.
Received emails from Carolyn reiterating the above information.
Received the following email from Carolyn regarding the removal of the gasoline
tank: "The white gasoline tank will be removed by a vendor(hired by Fleet) to be
moved to the Corp Yard. I was told to be available today to bring them into the site
today.
The Corp Yard is next to the animal shelter— 1465 S. Lincoln Street.
Chad Reed can answer your questions if you need to see it on site. His number is
937-7143. He is our fleet manager."
03/04/2020 Reviewed and revised narrative for accuracy.
