Complaint Investigation Summary Report#:5105
COMPLAINT ID: CO0050265 Site Location: 1000 ROTH RD
Activity Summary
Activity Date Recorded by
08/07/2019 Spoke with Michael Algots, Hazardous Materials Management, Union Pacific, via ALANIZ
phone regarding the brown liquid. Two containers were stacked on top of each
other. Brown liquid was observed on the side of the bottom container so it was
believed that the top container was leaking. Michael Algots hired Patriot
Environmental Services (Patriot) to contain the release and clean it up. Patriot
searched through the suspected leaking container(top one) and did not find any
evidence of a discharge. It is currently unknown what the brown liquid on the
container is and where it came from. It is suspected that there was a previous
unreported release. Michael Algots had Patriot clean up the liquid on the side of
the bottom container and generated one 55 gallon drum of waste. The waste is
going to be profiled by GHD and then be properly disposed of.
10/01/2019 Sent an email to Michael J.
