Called the property owner, John Weeks, and notified him that All
Environmental will be performing the spill clean-up tomorrow morning. John was
aware of the spill.
Called Garrett Backus, Ld Sr REHS, and discussed All Environmental's plan for
the waste disposal.
Documented narrative.
09/07/2020 8AM - 11AM : Received a call from Brandon, who states he will be done with the FLORIDO
engine oil spill clean-up in about 1/2 hour so I can head to the site now. Left home
for site.
Arrived on-site and verified the engine oil spill clean-up was complete. After
removing the absorbent pads form the spill area, Brandon had scraped about 5
inches of soil off the top of the —20x15ft spill area using a skid loader. Brandon
generated about 1/4 of a roll-off bin of oily solids. Took photos. Brandon plans to
transport the oily solids to either Forward Landfill in Manteca or Redrock
Environmental in Chowchilla for disposal, once one of these sites accepts the oily
solids profile.
After a few discussions with Brandon and the property owner, John Weeks,
Brandon agreed he will keep the two drums of diesel on-site until he finds out if the
diesel will be managed as product or waste; if the diesel is product, he will provide
me with the bill of lading; if the diesel is waste, the diesel will remain on-site until it
can be transported for disposal using a uniform hazardous waste manifest; and he
will provide me with the profile and waybill for the oily solids. Left site for home.
Arrived home. Documented narrative.
09/08/2020 Generated Prop 65 and Emergency Response Record form. FLORIDO
09/08/2020 Reviewed and revised narrative.
