Time Oil Company, Aminoil, and South Pacific Pipelines Company tank farms are
present. Adjacent property west of the site appears undeveloped for the most part.
Three small buildings are present on this parcel as well as several sporadically placed
stockpiles of what appears to be lumber. To the northwest of the site and separated by
a rail line is another tank farm.
The topographic map from 1968 shows the subject property to be essentially the same
as in the 1963 photograph.
The aerial photograph from 1970 shows the subject property to be essentially the same
as in 1968. The stockpile area in the northeast corner of the site (Audit Area III) is
now expanded to the east. Adjacent properties to the north, northeast, and east appear
the same as in 1968. The adjacent property to the south now includes a warehouse
appearing building on the Transnitro parcel and the Western Pacific Railroad tank farm.
The adjacent property to the west no longer contains the three small buildings or lumber
appearing stockpiles. This parcel now contains a warehouse, and several above ground
storage tanks.
A photorevised topographic map from 1976 indicates that the subject property appears
essentially the same as in the 1970 aerial photograph. It appears as though additional
tank farms have been added to the southern adjacent property. The new facility to the
west of the site observed in the 1970 photograph is not indicated on this map.
The 1980 aerial photograph indicates changes in the site and surrounding properties.
The stockpile in the northeast area (Audit Area III) of the site is no longer present.
Adjacent property immediately, northwest of the site is now developed in what appears
to be an extension of the bulk materials distribution facility to the north. This new
development is not discernable in the photograph, but may be a gravel stockpile. The
bulk materials distribution facility on the adjacent property to the north and the Port of
Stockton storage operations to the northeast appear the same as in 1976. The
immediate adjacent property to the east still appears undeveloped except for the addition
of the Calmaco tank farm. The tank farm area to the south now includes tank farms
operated by Stockton Petroleum, Transnitro, Union Oil, and the Learner Company. A
surface impoundment is now visible on the property west of Navy Drive. The facility
to the west of the site is still present, and contains several lumber appearing stockpiles.
A 1987 photorevised topographic map shows the subject property to be essentially the
same as in 1980. As with the 1976 version of this map, the adjacent facility to the west
of the site is not indicated. The observed surface impoundment is not apparent on this
map.
The 1990 aerial photograph shows additional development on the site and surrounding
properties. The subject property is now surrounded by a circular rail line. The
property immediately north of the site but south of the spur rail lines is now developed
by Delta Bulk Terminals and includes a rotary railcar dumper. This facility is
connected to the bulk materials distribution facility to the north by a conveyor system.
Two large stockpiles of what appears to be coal are now located on site. The bulk
materials distribution facility to the north appears unchanged except for the addition of
PSA04.007 6
