A billing a_ccount must be established with <br />the County, and fees must be prepaid. Equipment and supplies must be ordered and procured. <br />3-2 Overboring, Casing RetnovalAnd Grouting <br />A truck-mounted, 8-inch, hollow-stem auger, fitted with a one-inch (diameter) pilot shaft, will be <br />used to drill-out, of pull-out, the well casing and screen. The over-boring will be advanced slowly <br />to allow complete destruction and removal of the PVC-casing fragments. Water for drilling and <br />decontamination of equipment is available at the site. llentonite/cement grout will be placed in <br />the open boring with a tremmie pipe to insure that grout is effectively placed within the saturated <br />zone. Approximately one cubic-yard of cement/bentonite slurry will be used. Cuttings from the <br />monitoring well boring may contain traces of product. A high-pressure washer will be used to clean <br />the augers, drilling tools, and field equipment. <br />33 Site CleanuP <br />Upon completion of the work, construction debris and excess soil will be removed from the site. <br />Non-hazardous auger cuttings, rinsate, and excess grout will be placed in 55-gallon drums and <br />staged at the site fol. disposal. PM Ag Products will be responsible for non-hazardous waste <br />disposal_ <br />3.4 Reports and Correspondence <br />A brief report of results will be prepared upon completion of the fieldwork. <br />2
