RESPONSE: The Agency agrees, section B7 on page 12 of the draft
permit has been deleted.
COMMENT: On page 12, Section 8, the permit should be changed to
refer to changes in volume referenced to temperatures and pres-
sures representative of actual operating conditions.
RESPONSE: The Agency agrees to this change which will have no
significant effect on the environmental characteristics of the
well.
COMMENT: On page 12 , Sections C. 1. (a-c) should be modified to
indicate that monitoring will be done downstream of the injection
pump, but not at the actual wellhead.
RESPONSE : This change will be granted for operational con-
venience. It has no effect on the environmental characteristics
of the well.
COMMENT: The permittee requests a reduction in monitoring fre-
quency to once per year for certain organic compounds not
detected during the first year of operation.
RESPONSE : This request is denied. Although once per year
monitoring was adopted in the Class I permit being terminated,
the Agency feels that more frequent monitoring is required in a
Class V operation.
