SR-99 Frontage Road. The posted speed limit is 25 mph on both portions of <br /> Loomis Road, and parking is permitted where there is adequate shoulder width. <br /> Loomis Road provides direct access to both 2706 Pock Lane and the northern <br /> portion of 3009 Pock Lane. <br /> State Route 99 (SR-99) is a six lane, north-south freeway east of the project site. <br /> SR-99 is a key regional highway that extends from Sacramento in the north to the <br /> Grapevine south of Bakersfield, connecting major cities in the Central Valley. In <br /> the project vicinity,the posted speed limit is 65 miles per hour(mph). <br /> Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Charter Way is a principal east-west <br /> arterial north of the project site, connecting SR-99 and Interstate 5. Within the <br /> project vicinity, this roadway is generally four lanes wide, with a posted speed <br /> limit of 45 mph. <br /> Mariposa Road is a two- to four-lane, generally northwest-southeast arterial north <br /> and east of the project site. In the project vicinity, the San Joaquin County <br /> General Plan designates Mariposa Road as a principal arterial between Dr. Martin <br /> Luther King Jr. Boulevard and SR-99, and a minor arterial east of SR-99. The <br /> posted speed limit on Mariposa Road is 45 mph northwest of 8th <br /> Street/Farmington Road and 50 mph southeast of 8th Street/Farmington Road. <br /> 8th Street is a two lane, east-west major collector north of the project site. It <br /> extends from Airport Way to the west to Mariposa Road to the east, where it <br /> changes designation to Farmington Road. The posted speed limit on 8th Street is <br /> 35 mph, and on-street parking is permitted along much of its length. <br /> Farmington Road is a generally two-lane, east-west arterial northeast of the <br /> project site. It extends east of Mariposa Road and is designated as SR-4 east of <br /> Golden Gate Avenue. There is no speed limit posted on Farmington Road. <br /> B Street is two lane, north-south major collector west of the project site. It <br /> extends from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in the north to just south of <br /> Arch Airport Road. The posted speed limit is 35 mph north of 4th Street and south <br /> of Ralph Avenue (within the City of Stockton), and 25 mph between 4th Street <br /> and Ralph Avenue (within unincorporated San Joaquin County), and on-street <br /> parking is permitted along much of its length. <br /> Carpenter Road is a two-lane, east-west minor collector south of the project site. <br /> It extends from Airport Way in the west to SR-99 Frontage Road. The posted <br /> speed limit is 25 mph. In the immediate project vicinity, there is insufficient <br /> shoulder width to permit parking. <br /> Togninali Lane is a two-lane, east-west minor collector south of the project site. <br /> It connects Pock Lane to SR-99 Frontage Road.
