a4 KLEINFELDER <br /> 4 LABORATORY ANALYSIS <br /> After collection, the soil samples from the borings and groundwater samples collected from the <br /> monitoring wells and the domestic well will be labeled, logged on a chain-of-custody, and <br /> immediately stored in an iced cooler. As previously stated, at this time we propose to only analyze <br /> the soil samples noted in the previous section collected from each soil boring, and the water <br /> samples collected from the monitoring wells and the domestic well on site. The remaining soil <br /> samples would be placed on hold pending the need for further analysis. The soil and water samples <br /> will be submitted to a State certified laboratory. <br /> The soil sample collected from the vehicle parking area is proposed to be analyzed for the <br /> following: <br /> • Organochlorine Pesticides, by EPA Methods 8080/8081 <br /> • Fumigants (including ethylene dibromide, 1,3-dichloropropene, and dibromochloropropane, <br /> by EPA Method 8011 <br /> • Fertilizer constituents (including ammonium, nitrate, nitrogen, phospate, and sulfate), by <br /> EPA Methods <br /> • Carbamates,by EPA Method 632M <br /> • Organophosphates,by EPA Method 8140 <br /> • Metals,by EPA Methods <br /> • Chlorinated Hydrocarbons by EPA Method 8150 <br /> The soil sample submitted for analysis from the depression, AST areas, former washout area, <br /> and leach field would be analyzed for: <br /> • Pesticides, by EPA Method 8080-8081 <br /> • Fumigants (including ethylene dibromide, 1,3-dichloropropene, and dibromochloropropane, <br /> by EPA Method 8011 <br /> • Fertilizer constituents (including ammonium, nitrate, nitrogen, phospate, and sulfate), by <br /> EPA Methods <br /> • Carbamates,by EPA Method 632M <br /> • Organophosphates, by EPA Method 8140 <br /> • Metals,by EPA Methods <br /> • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel,by EPA Method 8015M (fuel AST area only) <br /> • Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline,by EPA Method 8015M (fuel AST area only) <br /> • Aromatic Hydrocarbons, By EPA Methods (fuel AST area only) <br /> • Fuel Oxygenates,by EPA Method 8020 (fuel AST area only) <br /> • Chlorinated Hydrocarbons, By EPA Method 8120 (fuel AST area only) <br /> • Volatile Organic Compounds,by EPA Method 8021 (fuel AST area only) and <br /> • Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds, by EPA Method 625 (fuel AST area only) <br /> 27125.1301 /ST03R657 Page 9 of 15 <br /> Copyright 2003,Kleinfelder,Inc.
