25 October 2016
AGE Project No. 11-1847
Page 3 of 8
Geoprobee 5400 equipped with 1.25-inch probing rods will be utilized. The total depth of
each well boring may vary according to geologic/hydrogeologic conditions encountered
during drilling. Locations of the soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells are as
follows:
Groundwater monitoring well MW-11 will be located approximately 45 feet east of
monitoring well MW-4 in the City right-of-way (alley road) near the eastern property
boundary to evaluate the deep eastward extent of the dissolved hydrocarbon
plume;
Groundwater monitoring well MW-12 will be located approximately 500 feet east-
northeast of site monitoring well MW-4 in the City right-of-way (sidewalk) near the
northeast intersection of San Joaquin Street and 8th street to evaluate the deep
eastward-northeastward extent of the dissolved hydrocarbon plume;
Groundwater monitoring well MW-13 will be located approximately 500 feet east-
northeast of site monitoring well MW-4 in the City right-of-way (sidewalk) near the
northeast intersection of San Joaquin Street and 8th street to evaluate the shallow
eastward-northeastward extent of the dissolved hydrocarbon plume;
Soil boring B-10 will be located approximately 5-10 feet northeast of former Tank
#1, and is located to evaluate soil for dermal contact risk at depths between 0-5
feet, to evaluate soil for waste oil impact, and to assess intermediate groundwater
at depths between 55 and 65 feet bsg;
Soil boring B-11 will be located approximately 10 feet southwest of Tank #1, and
is located to evaluate soil for waste oil impact, and to evaluate soil for dermal
contact risk at depths between 0-5 feet;
Soil boring B-12 will be located approximately 5-10 feet east of Tank #2, and is
located to evaluate soil for dermal contact risk at depths between 0-5 feet;
Soil boring B-13 will be located approximately 20 feet north of well MW-6, and is
located to evaluate soil for dermal contact risk at depths between 0-5 feet;
Soil boring B-14 will be located approximately 450 feet east-northeast of soil boring
B-8, and to fully define the downgradient lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-
impacted groundwater previously reported from B-8;
Soil boring B-15 will be located approximately 475 feet east-southeast of soil
boring B-8, and to fully define the downgradient lateral and vertical extent of
hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater previously reported from B-8;
Soil boring B-16 will be located approximately 525 feet east of soil boring B-7, and
to fully define the downgradient lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-impacted
groundwater previously reported from B-7 and
Soil boring B-17 will be located approximately 700 feet southeast of soil boring
B-7, and to fully define the downgradient lateral and vertical extent of hydrocarbon-
impacted groundwater previously reported from B-8.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc.
