Soil Suitability / Nitrate Loading Study <br />Ehlers Property Lodi, California <br />May 13, 2021 Terracon Project No. NA217019 <br />Irerracon <br />According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Thornton (1978) and Terminous (1997) <br />California Quadrangles, the elevation of the site is between sea level and approximately 5 feet <br />below mean sea level with a topographic gradient generally sloping towards the west. <br />1.1.2 Proposed Development <br />Based on information provided by the client, there are no improvements planned. The existing <br />warehouse is proposed to be used as a hemp processing facility. The existing grain silos, and <br />grain drying elevator will continue to be operated for non -hemp grain processing. <br />1.1.3 Site Vicinity <br />The adjoining properties consist of agricultural land. A detailed vicinity and topographic map are <br />included in Appendix A (Exhibit 1). <br />1.1.4 Site Map <br />A detailed site diagram map is included in Appendix A (Exhibit 2). <br />1.2 Present and Past Uses of the Site <br />1.2.1 Past and Present Site Use <br />Terracon reviewed the USGS Historical Topographic Map Explorer, Lodi (1894, 1939), and <br />Headreach (1910) California Quadrangle topographic maps; five historical aerial photographs <br />dated 1937, 1940, 1952, 1963, and 1975 provided by the San Joaquin County Surveyors Office; <br />and Google Earth aerial images dating between 1993 to the present.
