6. Erosion /Sedimentation Control <br />The existing side slopes of Modules 1-4 have established vegetation to provide <br />erosion and sediment control. <br />2017 WINTERIZATION TASKS <br />Following tasks will be done as part of 2017 winterization: <br />MODULES 1-4 <br />1. Drainage Ditches <br />Existing drainage ditches will be inspected and cleaned from vegetation and <br />debris. A new drainage ditch on the west side of Modules 1-4 has been created <br />to converge storm water to the wetlands. The drainage ditch will be hydroseeded <br />and will have check dams. <br />2. Down Drains <br />Existing down drains will be inspected and re -connected if necessary. <br />3. Erosion/Sedimentation Control <br />Mulch processed will be placed on the south east corner of Module 3 and 4 to <br />minimize erosion. The mulch is free from green waste. This task is expected to <br />be completed by the end of October, weather permitting. <br />MODULE 5 <br />1. Winter Pad <br />A new winter pad is being built in Module 5 for refuse disposal during rainy days. <br />The winter pad will be built with six -inches of recycled aggregate base and <br />concrete rubble over compacted refuse. Module 5's winter pad is expected to be <br />completed by the end of October. <br />2.
