6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS
6.1 Environmental Health Department Records
Hazardous Materials Records
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department was contacted
regarding the Site addresses of 1910 and 1914 South Sinclair Avenue.
According to Laura Sauers of that office, no hazardous materials records are
available for the Site addresses (correspondence, July 22 and 28, 2020).
Well & Septic Permits
Live Oak searched the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
well and septic permit files for the Site addresses. One permit was identified.
The permit, dated November 1975, was for the addition of a 40-foot leach line
and 33-inch diameter by 25-foot deep seepage pit to an existing residential septic
system. The permit notes that the Site is connected to the public water system.
It has been included in Appendix 4.
7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated
sites through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board
(SWRCB) and the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The
SWRCB's GeoTracker database includes underground storage tank (UST) sites,
leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land
disposal sites. The database can be searched by reviewing two lists, the
Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites list and the Cleanup Sites list.
DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund sites, State response
sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective action sites, and
permitted hazardous waste facilities.
Live Oak searched both databases on July 27, 2021 for any listed sites within
one-quarter mile of the Site. The subject Site was not listed on either database.
One listed facility was identified within one-quarter mile. Irvyn Sandau, 2058
South Sinclair Avenue, was included in the Cleanup Sites list. This facility is
discussed below.
LOGE 2139 4
