office partners have not been yet. Unsure of the date when they will be opening doors to the public, as partners will
need to be incorporated.
- Victor— Mahal Plaza —Sutter County is currently still in the red tier. Mahal Plaza has their office open to the
tenants for a window of 2 hours per day. Visits to the office are by appointment only and tenants are seen one at a
time. There are four staff members at Mahal and three of them are fully vaccinated Staff are feeling more
comfortable about working with clients. Mahal continues to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols like wearing masks,
maintaining social distance, and sanitizing work areas. Victor and Jaswinder will schedule active shooter trainer this
month.
- Shira — Stonehouse — Things are going well at Stonehouse. Shira conducted the Active Shooter drill on Wednesday
and incorporated both clients and staff. She showed the videos and discussed the different scenarios about what to
do in case of an active shooter. The team came up with one exit strategy for when people are on the ground floor
and one exit strategy for people upstairs. Clients were participative. Sonoma County is in the orange tier, but
Stonehouse is not normally open to the public. They still have a sign out front and those coming or making deliveries
to employees must call the employees ahead of time when they get to parking lot. Stonehouse continues to follow
careful protocol and takes temperatures, marks any symptoms, wears masks all day long, and are doing extra
sanitizing of the living areas. All staff members are vaccinated, and clients are getting vaccinated as well. They expect
to be having more sponsor visits and those will be outside where they are distanced and wearing masks. Family visits
may happen as well. Family members visiting will need to show that they are vaccinated before visiting the clients.
Shira mentioned the possible need of a gate at driveway with an intercom because; strangers have been coming into
the property/driveway.
Gil — Calistoga — Napa County is currently in the orange tier. All the Napa Farmworker Housing locations are
carefully following safety protocols and guidelines enforced by Napa County and are functioning as usual. They have
not yet completed the Active Shooter drill. Gil will be asking Maricela to help the locations plan their drills.
Mary — Sacramento — The Active Shooter drill for Sacramento is scheduled for Thursday, 04/15. Sacramento County
is still in the red tier, but according to the governor of California, June 15 is the expected state-wide opening. Most
people in the office have been vaccinated. All COVID-19 safety procedures are being followed. Office is open for
appointments and walk ins, but everyone must wear a mask. Mary will help schedule the fire drill for the month of
May. Mary also advised that the Sacramento office will be moving to Woodland during the first week of June!
Thomas — Santa Rosa — Thomas thanked committee members for staying in the committee and keeping the site
safe and healthy. Recognizes we still have to take our precautions, but is thankful for the work the committee puts in.
Moriah — Olivehurst —Yuba County is in the red tier, but the office is partially open. The Olivehurst office completed
the Active Shooter drill. They included roleplay for the drill. They are still closely following all COVID protocols for
safety.
