0_3
Requirements for Onshore Facilities (Excluding Production Facilities)
-40 CFR Part 112.8
Requirements Under 40 CFR 112.7 and 40 CFR Part 112.8 — 40 CFR Part 112.8 (a)
The general requirements for the Plan listed under 40 CFR 112.7, and the specific discharge
prevention and containment procedures listed in the following section (40 CFR 112.8) have
been met, except for those deficiencies listed in 112.7 (a)(1) of this Plan.
Facility Drainage -40 CFR Part 112.8(b)
Storm Water Drainage from Containment Area -112.8 (b)(1)
All oil storage areas, with the exception of the following are located indoors and therefore are
not exposed to rainwater: 1,000 -gallon diesel fuel, 240 -gallon fire water diesel fuel, and 180 -
gallon fire water diesel fuel. The 240 -gallon fire water diesel fuel is double -walled and does
not accumulate rainwater. The 1,000 -gallon diesel fuel and the 180 -gallon fire water diesel
fuel tanks each have a secondary containment berm/dike that can accumulate rainwater. A
manual open/close valve is present in the 1,000 -gallon dike wall to allow accumulated
rainwater to discharge to the ground around the tank area. There is no valve on the
containment berm/dike for the 180 -gallon fire water diesel fuel AST. The 180 -gallon fire
water diesel fuel AST has a small rain cover to minimize accumulating rain water in the area.
Rainwater that accumulates in this area is either allowed to evaporate or is removed with a
PUMP.
The outdoor transformers have concrete berms with ,ravel floors that should not allow
rainwater to accumulate.
ContainmentArea Drainage Valve - 112.8 (b)(2)
One containment area drainage valve is located in the diesel fuel berm at the facility. A
discussion of the use of this valve is presented in the following Section: Bypass Valve -
112.8 (c)(3)(i).
Spills Outside Containment Area - 112.8 (b)(3)
Not applicable.
Other Containment/Diversionary Equipment - 112.8 (b)(4)& (i)
Not applicable.
-)q May 2017A+0,4ist—
