ELECTRICAL WORK, GENERAL <br />REQUIREMENTS <br />Section 16000 <br />15-1207 <br />N. "Work": Labor, materials, equipment, apparatus, controls, accessories and other items required <br />for proper and complete installation. <br />O. "Wiring": Raceway, fittings, wire, boxes and related items. <br />P. "Concealed": Embedded in or below masonry or other construction, installed in furred spaces, <br />within partitions, above suspended ceilings, in trenches, or in enclosures. <br />Q. "Exposed": Not installed underground or "concealed" as defined above. <br />R. "Indicated", "shown" or "noted": As indicated, shown or noted on drawings or specifications. <br />S <br />1.4 <br />"Utility Companies": Construed to mean either the electric utility or the telephone utility company <br />or the cable television utility company. <br />QUALITY ASSURANCE: <br />Requirements of Regulatory Agencies: <br />1. As specified in Division 1 - General Requirements. <br />2. Nothing in the Contract Documents shall be construed to permit Work not conforming to <br />applicable laws, ordinances, rules or regulations. <br />3. When the Contract Documents exceed requirements of applicable laws, ordinances, rules or <br />regulations, Contract Documents shall take precedence. <br />4. It is not the intent of the Contract Documents to repeat requirements of Codes except where <br />necessary for completeness or clarity. <br />B. Reference Standards: <br />1.
