CONDUITS FITTINGS & <br />SUPPORTS <br />Section 16021 <br />15-1207 <br />3/4" RSC, 1/2" - 1-1/4" EMT: #10 <br />1" RSC, 1-1/2" EMT: 1/4" <br />1-1/2" - 2" RSC, 2" - 3" EMT: 3/8" <br />3" RSC, 4" EMT: 1/21' <br />22. All empty conduits that are installed for future use shall have pull line. <br />23. Provide polypropylene pull line in each empty conduit runt. <br />3.2 SPECIAL SEISMIC REQUIREMENTS: <br />A. Conduits shall be supported and braced per OSHPD Anchorage Pre -approval No. R-0010, the <br />SMACNA "Guidelines for Seismic Restraints of Mechanical Systems and Plumbing Piping <br />Systems", No. R-0003 the "Superstrut Seismic Restraint System" for pipes and conduits only. <br />3.3 INSTALLATION - OUTLET, JUNCTION BOXES, PULLBOXES: <br />A. Where boxes are used in connection with exposed conduit, plain covers attached to box with <br />suitable number of countersunk flathead machine screws may be used. <br />B. Securely fasten boxes. Set in position with exposed edge of raised device cover flush with <br />finished surface. <br />C. Install pullboxes as required in accessible spaces but do not install in finished areas unless <br />directed by Architect. <br />D. Pull Holes/Pu I !boxes: Top flush in finished areas and one inch (!"I ahove finished grade in <br />landscape areas. install two inch (2") drain at bottom to a dry well eight inches (8") diameter by <br />thirty inches (30") deep filled with gravel. Seal all conduit terminating in pull hole watertight. <br />Covers/lids shall be removable without damage to adjacent finish surfaces. <br />E. Installation of conduit and outlet boxes in fire -resistive walls and partitions shall comply with Title <br />24, Part 2, Section 709. <br />F. Installation of conduit and outlet boxes in fire -resistive floors, floor -ceiling or roof -ceiling <br />assemblies shall comply with Title 24, Part 2, Section 710. <br />G. Outlet Boxes and Junction Boxes: Install in accordance with 2013 CEC Article 370. <br />END OF SECTION <br />M3 <br />
