It shall be the responsibility of this Contractor to coordinate the installation of equipment with the <br />other contractors on site, the Architect, and the Owner. <br />1.3 SUBMITTALS <br />A. The following information shall be submitted to the Engineer and Owner and approved prior to <br />beginning the installation: <br />1. Documentation on the network requirements that are needed for proper installation and <br />distribution. <br />2. A complete list of materials with model and part numbers and reference to the specification <br />paragraph number. <br />3. A complete set of detailed manufacturers specifications and product data describing and <br />illustrating all standard and special components and materials. <br />4. A copy of the intercom contractor's valid state contractor's license and written confirmation from <br />the factory that he is an authorized distributor/installer of the submitted equipment. <br />5. Block diagrams showing components and relative connections. <br />B. The following information shall be submitted at the end of the project and included in O&M Manuals.: <br />1. Copy of product data cut sheets as submitted for review as noted above. <br />2. Complete as -built drawings on scaled floor plans depicting the final location of all equipment, <br />each device, and cable routing as installed. <br />3. Certificate of Completion identifying that the installation is complete, programming is complete, <br />training of the Owner and appropriate staff is complete. Certificate shall be signed by the <br />Contractor and the Owner, and dated. <br />C. The following information shall be submitted at the end of the project and provided during Owner <br />training: <br />1. System specific customized user manuals, including step-by-step instructions for use by office <br />administrative staff, teachers, and programming staff. <br />1.4 QUALIFIED CONTRACTOR <br />A. All systems herein specified shall be provided by a single source qualified and factory authorized <br />integrator/contractor for the submitted equipment. This integrator/contractor shall have access to <br />spare parts and maintain a staff of trained, certified technicians with full warranty privileges. <br />1.5 GUARANTEE <br />A. This Integrator/Contractor shall guarantee his work and equipment for a period of one year from date <br />of acceptance of project by the Owner. Neither the final payment, nor any provisions in contract <br />documents shall relieve this Contractor (or Integrator) of the responsibility for faulty materials and/or <br />workmanship for a period of one year. <br />1.6 MANUFACTURER <br />A. The intercom equipment specified herein is that of Valcom Engineered Solutions IP6000 Series. <br />The equipment of this manufacturer constitutes the quality of design and construction, operational <br />2 <br />
