VOICE & DATA COMMUNICATIONS <br />Section 16760 <br />15-1207 <br />L. Horizontal cabling at the MDF location should have a server loop of 10' above ceiling. <br />M. All Category 6 cabling should terminate to a Panduit Mini -Com Category 6 data jack color blue. <br />N. All Category 6A cabling should terminate to a Panduit Mini -Com Category 6A data jack color <br />orange. <br />O. All cabling terminations at the station locations shall be mounted on the appropriate faceplate as <br />specified by Table 7. <br />P. All cabling terminations at the MDF and IDF shall be mounted onto Panduit 48 port 19" modular <br />patch panel. <br />Q. MDFs/IDFs cabling patch work from panels to network equipment shall be neat and properly <br />dressed using wire managers. <br />R. MDF/IDFs horizontal cabling shall be neat and properly dressed into the back of the cabinet <br />using wire managers. <br />S. All inside horizontal cabling shall be blue in color. <br />T. All outside horizontal cabling shall be black in color. <br />U. All patch cables for Category 6 connection shall be blue in color. <br />V. All patch cables for Category 6A connections shall be orange in color. <br />W. All cabling shall be tested and certified and result submitted to MUSD IT. <br />X.
